While he did train and study hard to secure his place within the household, Lito has always preferred to bend the rules to suit him. Whenever he could, Lito would slip away to spend time in the city.
After some years working with various gangs within the city, Lito joined the Zhentarim and left Menzoberranzan for the surface.
